Required Paperwork and Documents

Please open the correct checklist from below, based on your status in the program.  Blank PDF copies of each requested form are available in the checklist below.  If you cannot access the dropdown checklists below you can also access downloadable PDF's of each form at the Forms Repositiory (click here).

Some of the forms we collect can be accepted digitally via email, but others can only be accepted as a physical copy.  The reason for this is information security. Please read the notes next to each form to see which submission forms are acceptable.

Training Materials (Summer)

Training Site Schedules 

Each Individual training site will provide their schedule of mandatory training topics to be covered. 

Access to UNI E-Learning Course

Once you are enrolled in our E-Learning course, you will have access to our modules, electronic manuals and resources, and mandatory quizzes to be completed before participation in the Camp Adventure™ Child & Youth Services program, as required by the Department of Defense contracts.

Program Materials & Manuals

You will receive the following manuals required for training:

  • Camp Adventure™ College: Staff Development Handbook - The Camp Adventure™ College Handbook is used in our training program and includes a variety of information related to programming, youth development, risk management, and other areas of concern.
  • Youth Programs: Promoting Quality Service: We use the text Youth Programs: Promoting Quality Service in our training. The text has especially valuable information regarding handling complaints, reporting child abuse, youth development competencies, understanding the basic needs of youth, and other areas of concern.
  • Camp Adventure™ Resource Card File: The resource card file is a handy resource of a variety of high active games, low active games, songs, initiatives/team-building, behavior management, positive validations, and much more to be referenced and utilized in the program. 

Additional Program Manuals will be provided and referenced via the E-Learning course and upon summer participation. These manuals include:

  • Camp Adventure™ CDC Intern Manual
  • Risk Management Plan Manual
  • Camp Adventure™ Homework Booklets (varied by program participation)

 

Training Materials (Fall/Spring Internships)

Meeting Schedules 

Each accepted intern will be required to set up two virtual training sessions held virtually via ZoomUS video conferencing prior to departure:

  • Post-Acceptance Information Session
  • Pre-Departure Session

  • Camp Adventure™ CDC Intern Manual - The CDC Intern Manual provides all necessary training topics and information needed to prepare for an internship in a Child Development Center.

  • Risk Management Plan Manual
  • Camp Adventure™ Resource Card File
  • Camp Adventure™ Homework Booklets (varied by program participation)
